My fiancé and I had the most wonderful stay here - truly a five-star experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond for us, from storing items that needed refrigerating to lending us floats for wild swimming. They gave fantastic local suggestions and it’s clear that every detail in the place has been thought through with so much love and care. The accommodation itself is perfect for a secluded getaway, with everything you could need - cooking facilities, a great shower, a barbecue, even fire pits. We enjoyed swimming, watching the stars, walking, barbecuing and never felt we were missing a thing. The atmosphere is peaceful, the hosts are genuinely lovely people and we left wishing we had stayed longer. We’ll definitely be coming back!
From the moment we arrived, everything about this shepherd’s cabin stay exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque setting, the cabin offered the perfect mix of rustic charm and cozy comfort. It felt like a true escape from the busy world.
The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from fluffy towels and a comfortable bed to little touches that made it feel special and personal. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning coffee outside or stargazing at night, every moment felt magical.
Melissa & Ben were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering helpful tips for exploring the area while still giving us total privacy. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into creating this space.
We left feeling refreshed & desperate to go back. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with charm, comfort, and nature all around you, this is it.

After 8 years of using AirBnBs at over 40 properties, this one is my absolute favourite. My wife, our dog and I had the most amazing two-night stay in this bit of wild, isolated loveliness. Everything you could need or want for such a stay was provided by Melissa and Ben, along with their very friendly, welcoming manner. The riverside setting makes this particularly special. So good, in fact, that we immediately booked for next year!
